Recycle a bistro table—an easy
garage sale find—into a stunning
conversation piece for your outdoor
space. We simply cut a piece of
plywood to fit the top of the table
to act as a base for our new mosaic
design. We used pre-cut tiles and
chose to stick to an overall geometric
design to keep things simple. We
also chose a stark white grout to
give the finished piece a more
artistic appearance.

You’re free as a bird when it comes to creating
a quirky mosaic birdhouse. Just cover a bare
wooden birdhouse
(available in the
Craft Dept.) with
a rainbow of our
handy pre-cut
square tiles–you’ll
need acrylic paint,
tile nippers, tile
glue and grout
to create the
designs shown.
