• Homework is the primary responsibility of the student, yet
still shared with the parents and teacher. Homework
strengthens school academics and builds student
responsibility.
• Homework is designed to reinforce concepts taught in
class. Each child should get in the habit of doing
homework at least four times a week. While an individual
student’s learning pace will influence the amount of time
spent doing assigned work, the average should be about 10
minutes per grade level with a minimum of 20 minutes per
day.
