Timberlox Interior Alkyd Sanding Sealer
Product Description
Timberlox Interior Alkyd Sanding Sealer is a clear, shellac substitute that penetrates porous wood surfaces,
dries quickly and sands easily. It can be used on any interior wood, millwork, paneling, furniture, doors or
trim prior to varnishing. It can also be used as a sealer on fire damaged areas or as a knot sealer as well as
a base sealer for clear polyurethane or alkyd varnishes. Approved by the Master Painter's Institute under
category # 102.
Intended Uses
Use as a sealer on new wood furniture, cabinets and trim. For use under alkyd and polyurethane varnishes.

Surface Preparation
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free of wax and sanding dust. Apply a uniform coat to freshly sanded
wood obeying recommended coverage rates. Do not over-build. Allow to dry to tack-free and scuff sand with
220 – 250 grit sandpaper. Stains, if used, must be applied prior to the 45114. Not recommended for high oil
content woods such as Teak.

IRRITATION. VAPOUR HARMFUL. COMBUSTIBLE. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Keep away
from heat, sparks and open flame. Do not take internally. Avoid contact with eyes and skin, and breathing of
vapour or spray mist. Wear an air supplied mask when applying in enclosed areas. Wash thoroughly after
handling. CLOSE CONTAINER AFTER EACH USE. USE WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION.
First Aid
In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Wash contaminated
skin with soap and water. If ingested, call physician or the Poison Control Centre immediately.
