Paris ... a stunning analog record player !
Designing an analog record player is no simple task …
re-designing the Paris after developping the 30th anniversary of the Delphi MK VI
was an extremely challenging venture !
The complexity of this exercise lies in the ability to integrate simplicity and accuracy.
A record player is a mechanical device capable of delivering an outstanding performance
level only “IF” each and every of its components and mechanisms interact
as a system in total harmony.
The Paris turntable has been designed with all the above clearly and very well understood !
Although very different from the Delphi, the Paris meets in every aspects
all the critical issues we had to address with the MK VI.

o The spindle holder bushing system made of high performance Peek material
o Fiberglass rod semi floating suspension system, Sorbothane decoupling
o Two piece acrylic / aluminum platter system
o Delrin record clamp
o Motor and drive electronics ... field tested since 1996 !

The Paris has been very elegantly dressed in a low reasonnance medium density fiber to maximize
the vibration rejection. The suspension system design has been developped to reproduce
a similar result than the MK VI Micro Vibration Sabilizer System.
The Paris is a very unique and high performance player that will deliver a truly outstanding act,
... a life like and totally involving analog music reproduction !

The Paris tone arm has been manufactuerd by Project and it has been improved by Oracle !
The system uses a gimbal bearing design. The tone arm tube is made of carbon fiber for
optimal rigidity and minimal reasonance.
Oracle Audio cleaverly implemented the Micro Vibration Stabiliser System developped for the
Delphi MK VI to the Paris tone arm. The system consist of a Silicone damping bath and
a precision plunger fitted to the tone arm tube.
The system allows a precise calibration of the arm damping thus allowing an optimal elimination
of unwanted reasonances within the arm. This also allows a wider use of different phono cartridges.
The end result is a significantly improved performance level,
an increased accuracy to retrieve more information
from the record grooves. This will all translate
in a very substantial improvement
of the sound quality !
The Paris phono cartridge is the result
of a collaboration with a brilliant phono
cartridge manufacturer and the design talent
of the Oracle Audio team. The machining of the cartridge
body from 6160T7 Magnesium Aluminum alloy is done at the
Sherbrooke Canada factory. This is also the case for the final assembly and testing.
