The Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya 5* luxe is the first of a three hotel complex<br />

situated on the Mayan Riviera, 20 miles from Playa del Carmen, and<br />

one hour from the airport at Cancun. The property has several Mayan<br />

Ruins,“cenotes” (natural caves formed by subterranean water), two natural<br />

wonders, and five beaches making the location one of the best on<br />

the entire Mayan Riviera.<br />

The largest coral reef on the Mayan Riviera is situated in front the<br />

beaches. It is accessible to swimmers, and of interest for anyone experienced<br />

in deep sea diving.The Yalkú Lagoon, near Akumal, is connected<br />

to the sea, and provides the ideal conditions for parrotfish, huge turtles<br />

and other tropical fish.<br />

The Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya offers a wide choice of 408 Standard<br />

Junior Suites, 33 “Sapphire Junior Suites,” 60 “Diamond Junior Suites,”<br />

and three “Grand Suites.” They also provide disabled guests with four<br />

fully adapted rooms, and for large families, up to 48 connecting rooms.<br />

The architecture of the complex is original and combines the comfort<br />

and safety of modern structures with the characteristics of ancient<br />

Mayan buildings. There are spacious public areas, and indoor and outdoor<br />

lounges. In addition the property features “Akumal,” the main airconditioned<br />

buffet dining room;“El Rancho” buffet in the pool area for<br />

lunches; and six air-conditioned a-la-carte thematic restaurants: “El<br />

Rancho” (steak house), “El Patio” (Mexican), “Cinecittá” (Italian), “Las<br />

Barcas” (Mediterranean), “La Gira Rodizio” (Brazilian barbeque), and<br />

“Ikebana” (Japanese). There is also a French restaurant “Le Relais<br />

Gourmand” (supplement payable); seven bars; swim-up bar; two swimming<br />

pools;lazy river;sun terraces;an entertainment area;children’s play<br />

area; conference rooms; internet access; mini market and shops; medical<br />

center; and a luxurious garden within the hotel grounds.<br />

Water sports include canoes, windsurfing, snorkeling, a diving center<br />

for deep-sea diving (PADI center), and other motorized water sports and<br />

excursions available, payable at the hotel.The all-inclusive package includes<br />

buffet meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner); house wine by the<br />

glass with meals; a-la-carte themed dinners; one Gala Dinner per week<br />

with lobster; snacks and bar; domestic and selected international premium<br />

liquors and soft drinks;waters,beer and soft drinks in the mini-bar,<br />

replenished daily; pool and beach towel service; non-motorized water<br />

sports; pool aerobics; introductory diving lesson in the pool; concierge<br />

service; room service; and an in-room safe.<br />

The Children’s Clubs cater to all ages, so every family member has an<br />

enjoyable stay. Activities include up to five hours varied activities every<br />

day; weekly show for adults and children (with participation of the children);<br />

gift pack; supervised children’s lunches and evening meals in a<br />
