completed in 2.5 years.<br />

•CHEM-1010 and CHEM-1020 replace<br />

BIO-1100 for students planning to<br />

transfer to a Baccalaureate Nursing<br />

Program.<br />

•Transfer students must meet<br />

all admission and progression<br />

requirements.<br />

Day class admitted Fall only. Space<br />

available basis. Clinical experiences may<br />

be held during the day and/or evenings.<br />

•BIO-1100 [CHEM-1010 and CHEM-<br />

1020 replace BIO-1100 † for student<br />

planning to transfer credits] and BIO-2330<br />

(or 1430) † not required for admission but<br />

cannot be more than 7 years old from date<br />

of admission. Only one science course<br />

may be repeated once to improve a grade<br />

of less than “C”.<br />

•Once Practical Nursing courses have<br />

begun, all other classes must be taken in<br />

program sequence.<br />

•A grade of “C” or higher required for<br />

ENG-1010, MATH-1141, BIO-1100, BIO-<br />

2330, PSY-1010 and PSY-2020.<br />

•Pass Nurse Entrance Test (NET); achieve<br />

a grade of 50% or higher in Essential<br />

Math Skills and 50% or higher in Reading<br />

Comprehension<br />

•ACCESS in Nursing available for<br />

graduates of this Certificate program.<br />
