TURNBERRY HE
Positioned between the Stirling HE and the Edinburgh HE in the
Prestige range this loudspeaker, by combining the best of traditional
craftsmanship and the latest production and design skills, embodies
the Tannoy philosophy.
The Turnberry HE is a compact high performance floor standing
loudspeaker. At its heart is a 254mm (10”) Tannoy Dual Concentric
driver, renowned for its unique point source symmetrical dispersion
properties, incorporating all the latest engineering
developments of this exclusive design. HE, or Hard
Edge, refers to the material used in the construction
of the driver surround. This, when combined with the
unique drive unit chassis earthing facility, results in
a tighter, faster and more controlled bass coupled
with fluid, transparent midrange and high frequency
performance of great purity.

Signal processing is handled by a hard-wired time
compensated crossover network, which is constructed
using only premium quality components. Silverplated
copper Van den Hul wiring is used throughout
the Turnberry HE to ensure that signal integrity is
maintained. Extensive internal bracing ensures a rigid
cabinet construction which is finished with carefully
selected veneers and solid hardwood trim details, all
of which are hand-finished and polished.
This loudspeaker creates a thrillingly realistic sound
with ease, whilst still retaining the beautiful and classic
cabinet design style of the Tannoy Prestige range.
