Sardines Anyone?
Well we do like to throw a good party! As Cyberdog
so aptly puts it “the now legendary EDGE after-party”
took place, as usual, on the first night of London
Edge. It’s always tricky to find feasible options for
the party venue but we’re not easily deterred and
we rallied forth and found the lovely Archangel on
Kensington High Street. The slight lack of breathing
space didn’t seem to spoil anyone’s fun in the end as
a third of the party-goers were downstairs listening to
the seriously awesome bands, a third were chatting
and drinking away upstairs and the other third were
outside on the pavement puffing away! A good time
was most certainly had by all!
NEW YORK:
“Showered with Free Drinks!”
It was billed as the show party to end all show parties
and, sure enough, that is pretty much what it turned
out to be! The venue was the famous Don Hills club
and, as is usual in London, the LENY party was given
a good meaty drinks budget, (with guitar plectrum
drink tokens) Carol Sadick was seconded in along
with Lyle from God Save New York to co-ordinate
the event and gather together support for the goody
bags, Tripp provided the awesome Robert Gordon
and there were other performances and sponsors
such as Tish & Snooky, Sailor Jerry Rum, Miss Guy,
The Choke, Punk Magazine and Indian Larry Legacy.
A hell of a good bash and no mistake.
