Become your own boss drawing comics and storyboards
for Hollywood big shots – that’s got to be a dream job for the
artistically inclined fanboy/fangirl. Meet artists who have done
just that, PJ Holden (Judge Dredd, AD Comics) and Jonathan
Cresswell (Game of Thrones, HBO) and learn how to create your
very own strip!
Starting with the basics, PJ and Jonathan will show you how to
script, draw, storyboard and ink an original comic devised in situ.
This is an intensive course for those with some experience of and
a serious interest in art. For 14+ individuals doing Art GCSE
(or alternative) only.
Yes! 35mm Photography is back by popular demand! This twoday
workshop will teach you how to use various functions of the
camera: loading film, aperture, depth of field, shutter speed and
light meter to capture creative and artistic black & white snaps.
Participants will select, visit and capture a variety of locations
within the City as part of this project. You will also develop your
own film in the darkroom, printing a contact sheet, negatives and
prints for exhibition in our InterAct showcase event!
