In order to be suitable, substrates should be bondable, solid, dry,<br />
clean, and prepared in a professional manner We recommend<br />
adhering to VOB*, DIN 18 363, Part C, Sect. 3 (*Contract procedures<br />
for building works - Part C; General technical specifications for<br />
building works).<br />
Iron, steel: Prepare surfaces to the standard degree of purity SA 2 ½<br />
(blast cleaning) and ST 3 (mechanical) as per DIN EN ISO 12 944-4.<br />

Substrates should be prepared ready for painting. Remove any dust,<br />
dirt, or greasy substances completely. Rust and mill scale should be<br />
completely removed, if necessary blast clean in accordance with SA 2<br />
½; in all cases clean at least down to bare metal. For interior use<br />
apply one coat of Tex-Color <strong>Rostschutz</strong>-<strong>Grund</strong> <strong>TC</strong> <strong>5301</strong>. For exterior<br />
use always apply two coats of Tex-Color <strong>Rostschutz</strong>-<strong>Grund</strong> <strong>TC</strong> <strong>5301</strong>.<br />
Tex-Color <strong>Rostschutz</strong>-<strong>Grund</strong> <strong>TC</strong> <strong>5301</strong> can be applied using brushes,<br />
rollers, or spraying equipment. Stir well before use; dilute with up to<br />
5% synthetic resin diluter if required. For spray coating adjust to a<br />
spraying consistency.<br />

Keep out of reach of children. In case of contact with the eyes or the<br />
skin, immediately rinse thoroughly with water. Do not allow the<br />
product to enter sewerage networks/watercourses/ground soil. Advice<br />

Containers should be completely empty before recycling. Dried waste<br />
material can be disposed of as household rubbish. Containers with<br />
liquid residue should be taken to a waste paint collection point. AVV<br />
waste classification regulations disposal code no.080111 (where<br />
