NCF Filter systems<br />
The special <strong>Nederman</strong> <strong>Norclean</strong> NCF<br />
(<strong>Norclean</strong> Candle Filter) filters are<br />
the most advanced selfcleaning filters<br />
available.<br />
Compressed air (6 - 7 bar) stored in a<br />
built in air vessel is blown back through<br />
the filter candles and forces the dust<br />
from their surfaces. This cleans the filter<br />
and the vacuum system is returned to<br />
full capacity.<br />
The NCF filter is available in a variety<br />
of sizes to fit all <strong>Nederman</strong> <strong>Norclean</strong><br />
vacuum systems, including mobile and<br />
stationary units. The filters can also be<br />
used in combination with other vacuum<br />
systems to solve filtering problems.<br />
<strong>Nederman</strong> <strong>Norclean</strong> offers manually<br />
or fully automatic filter cleaning<br />
systems. The NCF is an excellent choice<br />
whenever large volumes of dust are<br />
being handled, where filter efficiency is<br />
important, and when maintenance costs<br />
are to be minimised. The filters have the<br />
following features:<br />
NCF Filter systems<br />
During dust collection operation, we<br />
recommend a maximum filter loading<br />
of up to 200 m³/m²/h in single filter<br />
systems. When two or more filters<br />
are used in systems with adjustable<br />
sequential timer controls, the filters<br />
can be loaded up to a maximum<br />
airflow of 300 m³/m²/h during filter<br />
cleaning.<br />
The pressure drop at airflow of 230<br />
m³/h over clean filter is 20 mm WC.<br />
Loaded filters may have a pressure drop<br />
of 900 mm WC or more, depending<br />
on type of dust collected.<br />
When large quantities of dusty<br />
material are collected and filtered, the<br />
use of a pre-separator system before<br />
the filter is recommended.<br />
If the dust is hazardous, it is<br />
recommended to use the NCF filter in<br />
a pre-filtration stage, and to install a<br />
HEPA filter in a second stage for final<br />
fine dust trapping.<br />
