What students are saying about our PLC courses:
―The instructor was able to relate to the problems we see in
the workplace and was up to date on hardware and software
changes‖. K. Kelly, Projects Tech, Wheatland Tube/JMC.
TROUBLESHOOTING HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS (24 Hours)
This course will increase your intuitive abilities to most
effectively handle common hydraulic failures. Detailed
instruction will be given to increase awareness of the most
common hydraulic problems leading to failure and best
practices explained in the diagnostic and corrective
phases of hydraulic repair. Root Cause Analysis topics will
be discussed leading to Systemic Corrective Action Techniques
and Reporting.
A review of basic fluid power principles, safety and common
symbology first set a foundation. This will be followed
with schematic interpolation, proper use of diagnostic
equipment, component analysis and malfunction isolation.
The use of real-world schematics and digital photography
will illustrate troubleshooting techniques that will be amplified
by the use of working hands-on hydraulic training
equipment, component take-a-parts and cut-a-ways. Students
are encouraged to bring copies of machine schematics
they would like to review during the class. Prerequisites:
An understanding of Fluid Power Basics, and/or
previous hydraulic training.
Who should attend: Maintenance, Engineering and Field
Sales professionals who seek to advance their existing
hydraulic skills to the next level. Books/handouts included.
(1/2 hour lunch on your own)
Nov 6 - 8, 2012 Tue / Wed / Thu 8 am - 4:30 pm $850
―This course is a great introduction into the PLC world. I
came in knowing a little about how to manipulate the software
and I left knowing much, much more. In addition, the
wiring and troubleshooting are “gold” knowledge wise.
Great all around class to train for an introduction to PLC
technology‖. M. DelFranino, Coatings and Assembly Engineer/Supervisor,
HYDRAULICS SYSTEMS (13 Hours)
This online training program includes three sets of courses.
Hydraulics is a seven part series which familiarizes students
with hydraulic circuits, pumps, actuators, valves, fluid, safety,
maintenance, and troubleshooting. Industrial Hydraulics is a
four part series which includes basic principles and application,
types and concepts, function and operating principles and
maintenance and troubleshooting. Lastly, Hydraulic Power
Systems and Troubleshooting is a two part series which focuses
on the operation of basic hydraulic circuits, identifying
pressure, drain and control lines in a hydraulic system, how
load sensing and demand circuits operate and much more.
Each course in the series is $15 or $195 for the entire hydraulics
program. Call for details on these or other online electrical /
mechanical maintenance courses. 330-675-7606
