Fascination on wheels
Nobody can ignore the fascination of a
Colorado motor home. Soft, rounded
contours create a compact, clear form
which is both harmonious and
extremely powerful. Following the design
language of the most exclusive
sports cars, the dynamic lines of the
Colorado both catch and hold the eye -
the low front end of the vehicle and
the rising roofline make it seem that
the vehicle is crouched and ready to
spring.
This energy, convincing in every detail
and from all angles, is also manifested
at the rear. The three-dimensional deign
means that the Colorado is
absolutely unmistakable, even from
behind.
But even so, the design of the
Colorado is by no means sheer
indulgence in "form for form's sake".
The desire to combine form and
function in the best-possible way has
been consistently implemented in the
cabover and part-integrated models.
And the roof contour of the TI models,
based on a wedge, proves that integral
campers do not have a monopoly on
aerodynamics. The convex form of the
side walls not only emphasises the
automobile character of the Colorado
design, it also makes it possible to
provide a wider bed at the rear.
