The Power Management range of mains distribution units
from TSL have been designed to offer the full flexibility
required by technical operators in leading broadcast
applications. From the entry level MDU-14-B which
provides 14 fused IEC outlets at superior density to the
MDU-12PM Power Manager unit which offers full SNMP
alarm monitoring plus a host of other features including
sixteen GPI inputs for the remote management of nonnetworked
rack hardware.

The Power Manager provides complete
remote management and control over IP
The MDU12-PM provides the systems administrator with the ability to monitor
remotely over Local or Wide Area Networks the status of all broadcast
equipment housed within a rack, using TSL’s state of the art Web browsing and
power management technology, no matter how geographically remote the
hardware is.
The MDU-12-PM features a secure Web browser interface which provides access
to the MDU setup pages for input, output, system and SNMP alarm monitoring,
offering the systems administrator extended management and control of their
broadcast infrastructure.

The Power Manager MDU offers the
administrator with a secure Ethernet
connection to the password protected
web-based setup interface. The
familiar Windows ® style system allows
for configuration of input/output
locations, SNMP alarms and the
General Purpose Interface (GPIs)
which provides the platform for the
intelligent remote monitoring and
control of rack hardware.
Industry standard SNMP
management
The Power Manager MDUs use the
widely recognised SNMP protocol to
aid with their alarm and network
power management. The use of SNMP
alarm monitoring ensures that any
networked hardware can be remotely
managed from the remote racks room
to the satellite uplink facility.
