<strong>Westleigh</strong> Conference Centre<br />
Lea Road, Preston<br />
The nineteenth century mansion house was<br />
originally built in 1864 by Adam Leigh, a<br />
prominent mill owner from the area. It has<br />
had a long history, from a family home to a<br />
partial remodelling into a Cold War<br />
communications centre complete with<br />
nuclear bunker, and has now been carefully<br />
restored into a top-<strong>of</strong>-the-range Conference<br />
Centre.<br />
<strong>Westleigh</strong> Conference Centre contains<br />
seating for over 300 delegates, seminar<br />
rooms, dining areas and a stunning outdoor<br />
feature terrace, enabling delegates to enjoy<br />
the extensive grounds whatever the weather.<br />
For business users the centre boasts state-<strong>of</strong>the-art<br />
AV and IT equipment.<br />
The Conference Centre also benefits from a<br />
great North West location, with easy access<br />
to major road, and main-line rail networks<br />
with close proximity to Manchester, Liverpool<br />
