Serving the Community<br />
Coach Mullins and her staff have a long tradition of making sure her teams serve the community at-large.<br />
Whether it be running clinics, mentoring young people or even helping people with their daily chores, if<br />
you are ever in the Storrs area, you are likely to see the <strong>Connecticut</strong> softball team helping out.<br />

with Sam Witryol, one of the team's<br />
biggest and most loyal fans. The team<br />
often helps him out during the year with<br />
chores around his house, such as his<br />
yardwork in the fall.<br />
The softball team is a huge supporter of the Husky<br />
Sport program which helps local children in the com-<br />
munity. The benefit often goes both ways. Here<br />
