FROM THE DIRECTOR This Second Edition of the University of the District of Columbia Fact Book is a publication of the Office of Institutional Research, Assessment and Planning. This document provides factual, statistical information about UDC, and provides administrators, faculty, staff and other university constituents with convenient access to operational data. In our ongoing effort to provide useful institutional data, we aim to publish sequential editions of the fact book each year. We welcome your valuable comments and suggestions to improve the content of published facts about UDC. This second edition of the UDC fact book will also be published on the University’s website at: (http://www.udc.edu/irap). We hope that those of you who are less familiar with our University will find this publication to be informative and useful. PREFACE The information presented here was collected and organized by the Office of Institutional Research, Assessment and Planning. This office serves as the clearinghouse for official University statistics to promote consistency in reporting and the provision of timely and accurate information. All information provided was collected from official University reports generated by the Office of Information Technology. These reports represent official institutional records used for reporting to federal and local agencies. The data included in this document are also available on-line.
