What inspires you in your designs?<br />
What inspires me varies so much, I guess in<br />
general I love mid century modern furniture,<br />
the skill and pride in tradition and their craft<br />
of Japanese furniture makers as well as a<br />
lot of Australian and international designers,<br />
architects and makers.<br />
What do you love the most about having<br />
your own studio?<br />
The freedom to create and design without<br />
constraints. I do what I do because it appeals<br />
to me and it’s just a bonus when it appeals to<br />
others.<br />
Who are some of your favourite designers?<br />
There are so many, with the internet an social<br />
media you discover something new and<br />
amazing that someone is doing almost on a<br />
daily basis. If i started a list it would be too<br />
long!<br />
What is your favourite item in your store<br />
right now and why?<br />
The Willox bar stools would have to be the<br />
favourite piece I have designed and are my<br />
favourite thing to make.
