E3.4.9. In summary, all elements of a <strong>DoD</strong> information system IA program shall be<br />
developed, implemented, and maintained through the <strong>DoD</strong> IA C&A process. The <strong>DoD</strong> IA<br />
C&A process shall be the mechanism for negotiating IA requirements and capabilities<br />
between <strong>DoD</strong> information systems and their supporting enclaves. Information<br />
Assurance Managers shall integrate <strong>DoD</strong> information system IA programs with the <strong>DoD</strong><br />
Component IA program by tracking and reporting management review items.<br />
