Setting up the answering machine<br />
You can only record your own<br />
outgoing message via the<br />
handset.<br />
When recording your Answer Only<br />
message, remember to advise<br />
your caller that they will not be<br />
able to leave a message.<br />
To reinstate the pre-recorded<br />
message, see page 43.<br />
Record your own outgoing message<br />
Your Answer and Record outgoing message can be<br />
up to 3 minutes long and will replace the pre-recorded<br />
message.<br />
Your Answer Only message can be up to 12 minutes<br />
long (maximum recording length). However, you<br />
should try to keep your message short to allow time for<br />
recording memos, or incoming messages when using<br />
Answer and Record mode.<br />
1. Lift the handset.<br />
2. Press twice. You will hear the main menu<br />
announcement from the handset earpiece.<br />

3. Press 8 to hear the outgoing message menu.<br />
4. Press 3 to record your own Answer and Record<br />
outgoing message.<br />
Press 4 to record your own Answer Only outgoing<br />
message.<br />
You will hear, ‘Please speak after the tone. To end<br />
recording, press hash’.
Change language
