was a food processing consultant to the Cassava Enterprises Development Project in the International<br />

Institute <strong>of</strong> Tropical <strong>Agriculture</strong>, Ibadan, Nigeria (between January 2006 and December 2007). Also, I have<br />

been involved in EU/INCODEV sponsored Cassava SMEs project (2003-2007).<br />

Analysis <strong>of</strong> IITA mandate crops (Cassava, Yam, banana, plantain, cowpea and Maize), product<br />

development, capacity building and extension services.<br />

iii. Research Associate, Crop Utilization Unit, International Institute <strong>of</strong> Tropical <strong>Agriculture</strong>, Ibadan,<br />

Nigeria, Oct. 2004 – Dec. 2005. Job Description: Development <strong>of</strong> novel food products from IITA<br />

mandate crops (Cassava, Yam, banana, plantain, cowpea and Maize) and transfer <strong>of</strong> the technology to the<br />

public for both improved food security and livelihoods. This is one <strong>of</strong> the attempts made to alleviate<br />

poverty in Nigeria and contribute to the realization <strong>of</strong> the millennium development goals. This activity runs<br />

throughout the year as <strong>of</strong>ten as the need arises and goes alongside my other activities such as data collation,<br />

cleansing, analysis and interpretation.<br />

iv. Consultant (Processing and Analysis <strong>of</strong> Cassava and cassava Products), Micronutrient project,<br />

International Institute <strong>of</strong> Tropical <strong>Agriculture</strong>, Ibadan, Nigeria, Aug. 2004 – Sept. 2004. Job Description:<br />
