The ma<strong>in</strong> theme of the Issue no. 9/2012 is:<br />

Unemployment and effective labour market policies:<br />

challenges and perspectives<br />

Abstracts <strong>for</strong> issue no 9/2012 should be sent no later than 30 th of March<br />

2012.<br />

Abstracts should be sent electronically to: gerovska@fzf.ukim.edu.mk<br />

General conditions: Journal of Social Policy publishes orig<strong>in</strong>al articles both <strong>in</strong><br />

Macedonian and English language from all areas of social policy. Accepted will be all<br />

<strong>in</strong>novative articles, research articles, analysis of policies, practices and their<br />

implications <strong>for</strong> social policy. Studies with a comparative dimension or those<br />

reflect<strong>in</strong>g the relevance of the studied topic <strong>for</strong> other contexts and geograpfical<br />

areas are encouraged.<br />

Length of articles: orig<strong>in</strong>al articles 4,000 - 8,000 words; research articles 3,000 –<br />

5,000 words; book reviews: up to 1,500 words.<br />

Instructions <strong>for</strong> authors: authors are required to send articles by e-mail as two<br />

separate files, preferably <strong>in</strong> MS Word <strong>for</strong>mat, Font Times New Roman, 12 pts.,<br />

double-spaced. One complete file, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g title, name of author(s), <strong>in</strong>stitutional<br />

affiliation, correspond<strong>in</strong>g address, abstract (no more than 250 words) and keywords<br />

(up to 5) relevant <strong>for</strong> the doma<strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong> English. A second file, without identification data<br />

of author(s), without abstract and keywords.<br />

Language: Articles may be sent either <strong>in</strong> English or <strong>in</strong> Macedonian language.<br />

References: Use the Harvard system, which <strong>in</strong> the text cites authors and year of<br />

publication, and the full reference <strong>in</strong> a List of References at the end of the ma<strong>in</strong> text.<br />

All articles are subject to double bl<strong>in</strong>d peer-review. The editorial team is undertak<strong>in</strong>g<br />

the first selection of articles, be<strong>for</strong>e be<strong>in</strong>g sent to at least 2 referees.
