Innovative Fräswerkzeuge für die Micro-Zerspanung
Innovative milling tools for micro machining
Outils de fraisage innovants pour le micro-usinage
Die Miniaturisierung von Produkten erfordert
angepasste Fertigungstechnologien, die zum
einen wirtschaftlich sind und zum anderen hohe
Qualitätsanforderungen erfüllen. Eine auf der
konventionellen Zerspanung mit geometrisch
bestimmter Schneide basierende Fertigungstechnologie
ist die Micro-Zerspanung mit
Vollhartmetall-Fräswerkzeugen. Ein wesentlicher
Vorteil ist die hohe zu erzielende Geometriekomplexität
und Flexibilität hinsichtlich des
zu bearbeitenden Werkstoffspektrums.
Als Resultat der Aktivitäten im Bereich
Forschung und Entwicklung bietet FRANKEN
jetzt Micro- bzw.
abgedeckt. Trotz ihrer kleinen Abmessungen sind
sie so konstruiert, dass sie großen Belastungen
standhalten. Derzeit lassen sich mit den Microbzw.
Mini-Werkzeugen Stähle mit Härten bis
66 HRC fräsen.
Anwendungsgebiete dieser Micro- bzw.
Mini-Fräser sind beispielsweise die Herstellung
von Abformwerkzeugen, Spritzgussformen,
Präge- und Pressstempel für die Massenfertigung,
Graphit- und Kupferelektroden, sowie
die hochpräzise Oberfl ächenstrukturierung
makroskopischer Bauteile und die direkte
Herstellung mikromechanischer Bauteile in
Klein- und Mittelserien.
The miniaturisation of products requires specially
adjusted production technologies which are
economically effi cient on one hand, and meet
high quality requirements on the other hand.
Micro machining with solid carbide milling tools
is a production technology based on conventional
machining with a geometrically defi ned cutting
edge. Its main advantages are the high geometry
complexity that can be achieved, and the great
fl exibility regarding the workpiece materials to be
cut. As a result of its rich activities in the fi eld of
research and development, FRANKEN can now
offer you Micro and Mini milling cutters starting
from a diameter of 0.2mm. These tools are
available in short, long and extra long design.
With a length-diameter ratio from 2.2 : 1 to
10 : 1 they cover an extremely broad application
range. In spite of their small size, they are made
to withstand amazing strain. At this moment, the
Micro and Mini tools are suitable for the machining
of steels with a hardness of up to 66 HRC.
Typical applications for these Micro and Mini milling
cutters are, for example, the production of molding
tools, spray-injection molds, coining and extrusion
dies for mass production, graphite and copper
electrodes, or the high-precision surface structuring
of macroscopic components and the direct
production of micro-mechanical components
in small and medium series production.
