The Automation & Drives business unit of<br />
LEONI offers <strong>USB</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Fire</strong> <strong>Wire</strong> (IEEE 1394)<br />
cables, which are optimised to the same high<br />
level of symmetry as current Ethernet cables.<br />
They achieve transmission rates with speeds<br />
as high as 400 Mbit/sec. In addition to <strong>USB</strong><br />
st<strong>and</strong>ard, within a <strong>Fire</strong> <strong>Wire</strong> (IEEE 1394) system<br />
all devices can be the controller of the<br />
system.<br />
The <strong>Fire</strong> <strong>Wire</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>USB</strong> cables by LEONI<br />
Business Unit Automation & Drives are specified<br />
<strong>and</strong> built with special protection against<br />
fire, high temperatures, chemicals, UV radiation,<br />
mechanical stress <strong>and</strong> welding splatter.<br />
The cables are available ranging from AWG 20<br />
to 28, <strong>and</strong> with or without integrated power<br />
supply wires.<br />
