Association’s Summer Healthcare Reimbursement Conference<br />
(rather than the acronym AAA) to receive the special rate of<br />
$199.00 single/double occupancy not including applicable<br />

Association is guaranteed only until June 16, <strong>2009</strong>. After<br />

Early Registration – REGISTER EARLY AND SAVE! Complete<br />
registration and payment by Friday June 26, <strong>2009</strong> and<br />
receive the discount. Early Registration Fees are $375 for<br />
AAA members and $625 for non-members. Conference<br />
Registration will be accepted until Friday June 26, <strong>2009</strong>,<br />
after this date registrations can be completed on-site.<br />
Registrations on-site will incur an additional fee increase.<br />
Additional discounts are available through the AAA Team<br />
Rate, which is multiple participants from the same AAA<br />
member company who register simultaneously by the<br />
Early Registration Deadline of Friday June 26, <strong>2009</strong>. Save<br />
$35.00 on each registration. The AAA Team Rate of $340 is<br />
applicable thereafter and until Friday, June 26, <strong>2009</strong>. On-site<br />
registration rates for each Team Member will be $440.<br />
After the Early Registration Fee deadline, Registration Fees<br />
are $475 for AAA members and $725 for non-members.<br />
The Conference Registration deadline is Friday, June 26,<br />
<strong>2009</strong>. After this date, please bring all registrations on-site to<br />
the AAA Registration Desk, where there will be a fee increase.<br />

Summer Healthcare Reimbursement Conference.<br />
Attendees will receive the most up to date information<br />
on Medicare reimbursement, claims problems,<br />
compliance issues, and valuable information on<br />
bringing dispatch, field, and billing efforts together to<br />
improve reimbursement.<br />
In addition to the Healthcare Reimbursement track, this<br />
summer’s conference will also have a session focusing<br />
on alternative revenue sources such as membership<br />
programs, and medi-alert bracelets, a keynote speaker<br />
on quality measures for ambulance service providers<br />
and a panel discussion on improving and maintaining<br />
relationships with your carrier.<br />
With the current economic climate, now more than<br />
ever it is important to reduce the number of denials,<br />
find alternative streams or revenue and develop and<br />
maintain excellent relationships with ALL payers.<br />
This summer’s conference will include several<br />
presentations by leading experts- in both lecture and<br />
panel discussion formats. There will also be plenty of<br />
opportunity for networking with some of the brightest<br />

CANCELLATIONS<br />
All requests for refunds must be sent, in writing, to the AAA<br />
executive office on company letterhead. Cancellations<br />
received by June 29, <strong>2009</strong> qualify for a 75% refund. Refunds<br />
will NOT be issued for no-shows or cancellations received<br />
after June 29, <strong>2009</strong>. Substitutions of attendees are accepted<br />
at any time.<br />
AAA Membership Information<br />
If you are not a current member of the AAA, you may join at<br />
the time you register and enjoy the AAA Member registration<br />
rates!<br />
• Active (voting). Any organization engaged in<br />
providing fee for service ground ambulance<br />
transportation which meets the standards of<br />
the Board of Directors including government<br />
organizations, and is not eligible for other<br />
membership category. Annual dues based on<br />
the number of ambulances. Each ambulance<br />
is $218 and the dues cap is 40 ambulances<br />
or $8774.<br />
• Any entity engaged in the business of providing ambulance<br />
or public safety services, which are government-operated<br />
fire departments, aeromedical services, or volunteer-based<br />
services. Government and aeromedical providers, $807.<br />
Volunteer (50% volunteer): less than 10 ambulances,<br />
$218; more than 10 ambulances, $436.<br />
• Affiliate (non-voting). Any person, partnership or corporation<br />
engaged in activities relating to or supporting the<br />
ambulance service/medical transport industry including<br />
manufacturing, sales, rental, training, and certification.<br />
Dues, $1216.<br />
• State Association Member (non-voting) Any entity engaged<br />
in the business of providing member benefits to ambulance<br />
service providers for a specific geographic region in<br />
the U.S. State Association Members must meet the standards<br />
prescribed by the Board of Directors. $287.<br />
