High resolution CCD
CCD with 26.3 lp/mm resolution, 19 µm pixel size
and Caesium Iodide Scintillator (CSI technology)
that produces very high resolution images while
reducing the X-ray dose received by the patient.
It incorporates a fiber optic layer that protects
the microprocessor and drives light from the
scintillator directly to the CCD surface, with a
real grey transfer of 16 bit (i.e. 4096 grey levels).
CSI
The Caesium Iodide Scintillator shelter is the first one
to capture the X-rays and transform them into visible
light.
It is designed with a vertically grown process that
generates a columnar microstructure to ensure
excellent image quality.

Sensor holders for Parallel technique
RX2 HP sensor is equipped with the Sensor
holder kit for parallel technique. It ensures
perfect image acquisition in vertical and
horizontal position, bitewing and endo
techniques.
The sensor holder can be sterilized in autoclave
and is essential for the dental practitioner to get
images perfectly parallel to the x-ray unit cone.
This is particularly necessary in endodontics,
periodontal and implantological treatments.
The sensor holders are made of a special resin
that gives them an optimum flexibility, thus
improving the easy use by the practitioner with
the greatest patient comfort.

CSN Image Software
The Csn Image Software complies with all the
Italian directives for the digital imaging in
Dentistry.
The software has a new, modern and innovative
interface and integrates the possibility of
acquiring images from all dental equipments
(intra oral camera - Radiovedeography -
Photocamera - Digital Panoramic - Tac and
Panoramic in Dicom format).
New Filters have been integrated in the
software in order to improve image resolution
and enhance the diagnosis:
Structure enhancement (to increase image
contrast and resolution), restorative dentistry
effect (to increase the contrast between dentine
and enamel) Periodontics effect (to enhance
visualization of periodontic areas) Endodontics
(to contrast automatically the tooth apex).
Images can be added to the odontogram or a
full dental status can be created. Moreover,
images can be sent automatically via e-mail, or
saved on a CD.
The Measuring function, either linear and by
segments, has been implemented, with the auto
saving of all the measures (by re-opening the
image, measures don't get lost). Moreover, a
new function allows you to make drawings and
add text to images.
