Dear Teens:
This year we have the wonderful opportunity for teens to be
small group leaders for the 7 th Grade Confirmation Retreat on
Saturday, Oct 3 rd .
As a high school student, you have the potential to greatly
impact the faith experience of a younger adolescent.
We are looking for 10-20 teens to serve as small leaders (1-2
per group), plus help with welcoming, check-in, and in general,
journey alongside with the student during their retreat
experience.
Any high school age student can apply.
There will be a training for all small group leaders on Sunday,
Sep 20 th from 2:30-5:00pm in the Youth Room of the Parish
Center.
In addition, this year Youth Ministry would like to set-up a
mentor program between high school students and the jr. high
Peer Council students. A high school mentor would commit to
a minimum of two, max of 8, afternoon sessions whereas they
would lead small groups and share their own faith within the
structure of the Thursday after school Peer Council sessions. If
interested in finding out more information on the High School
Mentor program, please indicate on the attached form.
