Complex Cardiovascular Therapeutics 2O12 Hands-on and Training Center Crossroads PCI Hands-on Center Dates: Friday, November 2 - Sunday, November 4 Venue: Exhibition Hall Co-sponsored by: Abbott Vascular Japan Co., Ltd. Trainer's Session (Pre-registration required) Basic CTO (In Japanese and In Chinese) This Session is for CTO beginner, on Saturday in Japanese and on Sunday in Chinese. From wire shaping for to manipulation of wire on self-made CTO vessel model, trainer will give you an actual training. Bifurcation (In English) Trainer will provide the lecture on stenting techniques at bifurcated lesion and also actual training on transparent vessel model. BTK (In Japanese) With CTO vessel model for BTK, trainer will provide the tips and tricks of wire manipulation and how to utilize Micro-catheter. CT Skill-up Seminar Dates: Friday, November 2 - Sunday, November 4 Venue: Kobe International Exhibition Hall3 Over the past decade Heart CT has advanced to an effective tool for assessing coronary artery disease. With the ability of evaluating (1) coronary plaques characteristics, (2) severity and extent of calcified coronary artery segments and (3) coronary arteries beyond chronic total occlusions, Heart CT still holds enormous potential as a PCI supporting tool. While PCI success rates can be further improved, integrated CT information helps to stratify procedural risk and reduce complications. For this purpose, however, analyzing Heart CT by the PCI operator himself is essential. The present course aims to introduce the novel, user-friendly Sliding Slab MIPmethod, and to demonstrate how to take full advantage of Heart CT imaging in your daily PCI cases. Please join us to learn and experience the potential of cardiac MDCT. Since there is a limited capacity of 12 attendees for Fundamental Course per session and 5 attendees per session for Advanced Courses it is highly recommended that you register as early as possible. We kindly invite you to bring your own case data in DICOM format (300-400 axial data set) for analysis during break time. Fundamental Course We will explain the operation procedures and the basic diagnostic points of Slab MIPmethod.
