Andreas Preuss<br />

Chief <strong>Executive</strong> Officer (CEO) of <strong>Eurex</strong> Zürich AG and <strong>Eurex</strong> Frankfurt AG<br />

Andreas Preuss is the Deputy CEO of Deutsche Börse AG and responsible for the Cash & Derivatives<br />

Markets division. He holds the positions of Chief <strong>Executive</strong> Officer of the <strong>Executive</strong> <strong>Board</strong>s of <strong>Eurex</strong><br />

Zürich AG and <strong>Eurex</strong> Frankfurt AG. Furthermore, Andreas Preuss is a Member of the <strong>Executive</strong><br />

<strong>Board</strong> of <strong>Eurex</strong> Clearing AG as well as the Management <strong>Board</strong>s of <strong>Eurex</strong> Deutschland and the<br />

Frankfurt Stock Exchange. In October 2012, Andreas Preuss was elected Chairman of the World<br />

Federation of Exchanges.<br />

Mr. Preuss joined Deutsche Terminbörse (DTB) in 1990, initially as a member of the new products<br />

division and then as Customer Service Director. In 1994, Mr. Preuss was appointed a Member of the<br />

Management <strong>Board</strong> of Deutsche Börse AG, and in 1998 he became a Member of the <strong>Executive</strong><br />

<strong>Board</strong>s of the newly established <strong>Eurex</strong>. In 2000, he became President of Trading Technologies<br />

International Inc. in Chicago before accepting the positions of Chief Operating Officer, <strong>Board</strong><br />

Member and (since 2003) Partner for Mako <strong>Group</strong>, a leading market maker in exchange-traded<br />

options. In 2006, Mr. Preuss rejoined Deutsche Börse AG.<br />

Mr. Preuss studied Business Administration ("Betriebswirtschaftslehre") at the University of<br />

Hamburg, receiving a graduate degree ("Diplom-Kaufmann").<br />

Michael Peters<br />

Head of Sales & Marketing<br />

Michael Peters has been a Member of the <strong>Executive</strong> <strong>Board</strong>s of <strong>Eurex</strong> Zurich AG and <strong>Eurex</strong> Frankfurt<br />

AG since 2006. He is also a member of the Management <strong>Board</strong> of <strong>Eurex</strong> Deutschland. As a <strong>Board</strong><br />

Member, Mr. Peters is responsible for sales and marketing, including business research, pricing<br />

policy and for corporate business development in Asia and the Middle East (excluding China).


In addition, he is responsible for the <strong>Eurex</strong> Representative Offices in Chicago, Hong Kong, London,<br />

Paris, Singapore, Tokyo and Zurich.<br />

From 2001 to 2006, Mr. Peters worked at OMX AB in Stockholm as Head of Projects as well as for<br />

Strategic Initiatives. Besides important projects for exchange and clearing organizations in the U.S.<br />

and Asia/Pacific, his duties included the evaluation and implementation of strategic initiatives for<br />

the next generation of trading and clearing systems.<br />

From 2000 to 2001, he was Managing Director of Trading Technologies in Frankfurt and Chicago,<br />

responsible for Business Development.<br />

From 1991 to 2000, Mr. Peters held various management positions within Deutsche Börse and<br />

<strong>Eurex</strong>, as well as Deutsche Terminbörse (DTB), a predecessor of <strong>Eurex</strong>. From March 2006 until<br />

March 2013 he was a Member of the <strong>Executive</strong> <strong>Board</strong> of <strong>Eurex</strong> Clearing AG.<br />

Thomas Book<br />

Member of the <strong>Executive</strong> <strong>Board</strong>s of <strong>Eurex</strong> Frankfurt AG and <strong>Eurex</strong> Zürich AG<br />

Thomas Book was appointed CEO of <strong>Eurex</strong> Clearing AG in April 2013, where he has been a Member<br />

of the <strong>Executive</strong> <strong>Board</strong> since March 2007. He has also been a Member of the <strong>Executive</strong> <strong>Board</strong>s of<br />

<strong>Eurex</strong> Frankfurt AG and <strong>Eurex</strong> Zürich AG since December 2006. In addition, he became a member<br />

of the Management <strong>Board</strong> of <strong>Eurex</strong> Deutschland in May 2007.<br />

Since joining Deutsche Börse <strong>Group</strong> in October 1995, Mr. Book has held a number of different<br />

leadership and project management positions at Deutsche Börse and <strong>Eurex</strong>. From October 2004<br />

until November 2006 he was in charge of market development for the cash and derivatives markets<br />

as well as for international strategic projects.<br />

Thomas Book received a diploma in Business Administration at the University of Münster in 1995.<br />

He completed a Ph. D. thesis on "Electronic stock exchange trading and global markets" at Justus-<br />

Liebig University of Giessen in 2000 which was awarded the first prize of the Paul Julius Reuter<br />

Innovation Award in 2003.<br />

Since April 2011, Thomas Book is a Member of the ESMA Securities and Markets Stakeholder <strong>Group</strong><br />

which advises the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA).<br />

Brendan Bradley<br />

Member of the <strong>Executive</strong> <strong>Board</strong>s of <strong>Eurex</strong> Frankfurt AG and <strong>Eurex</strong> Zürich AG<br />

Brendan Bradley has worked within the exchange traded derivative industry for over 25 years. In<br />

1987, he started his career at LIFFE and later became manager<br />

of Product and Market Development. He acted as a consultant to Deutsche Terminbörse/<strong>Eurex</strong> from<br />

1995 to 1998. From 1999-2006, he worked as an<br />

independent consultant in the industry until he re-joined <strong>Eurex</strong> again in 2006 as Head of Product<br />

Strategy. He took over the responsibility for <strong>Eurex</strong>’s Innovation Management approach in April<br />

2013.


Mehtap Dinc<br />

Member of the <strong>Executive</strong> <strong>Board</strong>s of <strong>Eurex</strong> Frankfurt AG and <strong>Eurex</strong> Zürich AG<br />

Head of Product Research & Development<br />

Mehtap Dinc has been in the financial industry for 20 years working in different positions in the<br />

banking sector; she joined <strong>Eurex</strong> in 1999 as a Product Manager. Since then, Dinc held a variety of<br />

product strategy, product development and project management positions. She took over the<br />

responsibility for Product Development at <strong>Eurex</strong> in March 2012 and is responsible for development<br />

and management of derivatives contracts. Since November 2013 she is also a member of the<br />

Management <strong>Board</strong> of <strong>Eurex</strong> Deutschland.<br />

Gary Katz<br />

CEO and President of International Securities Exchange (ISE)<br />

Member of the <strong>Executive</strong> <strong>Board</strong>s of <strong>Eurex</strong> Frankfurt AG and <strong>Eurex</strong> Zürich AG<br />

Gary Katz is President and Chief <strong>Executive</strong> Officer of the International Securities Exchange (ISE)<br />

and is a co-founder of the Exchange. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Katz served as<br />

Chief Operating Officer of ISE.<br />

Mr. Katz is one of the principal developers of ISE's unique options market structure - an auction<br />

market on an electronic platform. He is named as inventor or co-inventor on six patents that ISE<br />

has received or applied for relating to its proprietary trading system and technology.<br />

Before joining ISE at its inception, Mr. Katz served from 1997 to 1998 as President and co-founder<br />

of K-Squared Research, LLC, a financial services consulting firm. From 1986 until 1997, he held<br />

several positions in the Options and Index Products Division at the New York Stock Exchange where<br />

he became Managing Director. During his tenure at NYSE, Mr. Katz also was a co-founder of The<br />

Options Industry Council, a trade group dedicated to promoting the equity options sector through<br />

the education of the investing public. Prior to 1986, Mr. Katz was an actuary with the Equitable Life<br />

Assurance Company and is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries.<br />

Mr. Katz formerly was an Adjunct Professor of Statistics at the Stern School of Business, New York<br />

University, where he conducted classes in business mathematics applications and also taught<br />

classes in options strategies and pricing at the New York Institute of Finance. Mr. Katz has an MS in<br />

Statistics with Distinction from New York University and a BA from Queens College.<br />

Mr. Katz is a Director of ISE and serves on the <strong>Executive</strong> <strong>Board</strong>s of <strong>Eurex</strong> Frankfurt AG and <strong>Eurex</strong><br />

Zürich AG. He is also on the <strong>Board</strong> of Directors of OCC and Direct Edge Holdings, LLC.<br />

Peter Reitz<br />

CEO of European Energy Exchange AG (EEX) and European Commodity Clearing AG (ECC)<br />

Member of the <strong>Executive</strong> <strong>Board</strong>s of <strong>Eurex</strong> Frankfurt AG and <strong>Eurex</strong> Zürich AG<br />

Since August 2011, Peter Reitz has been Chief <strong>Executive</strong> Officer of the European Energy Exchange<br />

AG and the European Commodity Clearing AG.<br />

He is a member of the <strong>Executive</strong> <strong>Board</strong> of <strong>Eurex</strong> Zürich AG and <strong>Eurex</strong> Frankfurt AG – a position he<br />

has held since August 2001.<br />

Mr. Reitz worked for Deutsche Börse from 1991 to 2000, performing various management functions<br />

in the area of product development, as head of the IP Design & Functionality section. He was also


Chairman of the Supervisory <strong>Board</strong> of STOXX Limited from 1998 until 1999. In April 2000, Mr. Reitz<br />

was appointed as Head of Research & Development at U.S.-based Dow Jones Indexes before<br />

moving to the <strong>Executive</strong> <strong>Board</strong> of <strong>Eurex</strong> in August 2001. Until March 2013 he was also a Member of<br />

the <strong>Executive</strong> <strong>Board</strong> of <strong>Eurex</strong> Clearing AG and until November 2013 he was a Member of the<br />

Management <strong>Board</strong> of <strong>Eurex</strong> Deutschland.<br />

Mr. Reitz studied mathematics and economics at Braunschweig Technical University, earning the<br />

German degree of Diplom-Mathematiker (diploma in mathematics).<br />
