Dear Eighth Grade Parents,
Our eighth grade students are eagerly anticipating the annual class trip to Dorney Park &
Wildwater Kingdom on Monday, June 10th. Students should report to school at the
regular time on the day of the trip. We will travel to Allentown via school buses and
return to Radnor Middle School between 4:15 and 4:30 p.m. Please keep in mind that the
time of our return is approximate. Traffic conditions may cause a delay.
Shorts, T-shirts, and sneakers are appropriate attire for the bus and Dorney Park.
Students should plan to bring their bathing suits, sunscreen, and towels for activities in
Wildwater Kingdom. Lockers are available for a nominal fee on a first-come, firstserved
basis. Students will also need spending money for food and beverages.
The cost of the trip is $38.00, which covers transportation and discounted admission to
both amusement parks. Checks should be made payable to Radnor Middle School. Due
date is May 17th . Please return the attached permission slip along with the trip fee
in a sealed envelope labeled with your child’s name, team, and advisory teacher’s
name. Eighth grade advisory teachers will collect all envelopes.
We hope that every student will attend. If a scholarship is needed, parents should call
Mr. Diehl, eighth grade counselor, at 610-386-6300, extension 7511, or include a note
with the permission slip.
