Euroklimat is a byword for innovation in mind, methods and therefore the products.<br />

Innovation, which in turn mean positive change, attention paid to needs, sensitivity towards<br />

the market and its expectations, requires imagination, creativity and insight.<br />

In other words a flexible approach to problems and possible solutions, which should never<br />

be banal or off the cuff, but the result of study, attention to details as well as total and not<br />

just perceived quality. Because quality is a word that gains strength as time passes, that is<br />

confirmed over the years; it is our idea of work, it is our style as well as the essence of Made<br />

in Italy.<br />

Over the last forty years Euroklimat has conceived, manufactured and distributed airconditioning/heating<br />

appliances paying particular attention to the quality and constant<br />

innovation of its products: features that have distinguished this firm made up of values,<br />

<strong>com</strong>mitment and persons.


Euroklimat - The History<br />

Rodolfo Caciolli - President 2004<br />

1963. Klimat was established: one of the first <strong>com</strong>panies to put semi-hermetic refrigeration<br />

<strong>com</strong>pressors and air-cooled packaged chillers on the Italian market.<br />

1970. Klimat set up on the Spanish market, creating a considerable industrial <strong>com</strong>plex that<br />

is still active today..<br />

1975. Klimat took over Interproind, a well-established <strong>com</strong>pany specialised in the temperature<br />

control of industrial fluids, and started the production of a wide range of process coolers/<br />

chillers.<br />

1975-1985. Klimat was by this time known and appreciated for its innovative, top quality<br />

models. The study and manufacture of special air conditioners for telephone systems belong<br />

to these years.

1999. The civil and industrial sector were sold and taken over by new shareholders. Euroklimat<br />

was formed, concentrating on the production of industrial cooling and air-conditioning systems.<br />

The technological experience, the in-depth knowledge of the market and the ability to respond<br />

with flexible products to the varied and specific customer requirements soon put Euroklimat<br />

on the international map: more than 60% of its products were exported. Euroklimat products<br />

with their high technological impact also stood out for the energy saving features and respect<br />

for the environment. Euroklimat was already foremost in terms of reliability, performance,<br />

easy maintenance and long life of its appliances, not least because it has always invested<br />

over 5 % in research and development.<br />

2001. Euroklimat was awarded the UNI EN ISO 9001 certificate by the authority DNV.<br />

Housing<br />

Base made of painted galvanised steel; panels made of galvanised<br />

steel externally coated with plastic (PVC) film and mounted on aluminium<br />

internally lined to reduce the noise level (LN Accessories only).<br />

Compressor<br />

HERMETIC SCROLL type, <strong>com</strong>plete with thermal protection.<br />

Low speed, axial-flow fans fitted with accident-prevention protective<br />

Finned coil made with copper pipes and aluminium fins offering a<br />

INTEGRATA solution: NOFROST type: copper tubes in a plastic pipe<br />

fitted into a steel tank with shell covered with closed-cell neoprene<br />

anti-condensate material; <strong>com</strong>plete with water differential pressure<br />

switch. BASE solution: plate-type made of AISI 316 steel <strong>com</strong>plete<br />

with water differential pressure switch. Shell covered with closedcell<br />

neoprene anti-condensate material.<br />

Electrical board<br />

Switchboard to standards IEC 204-1/EN60204-1, <strong>com</strong>plete with contactor<br />

and protection for <strong>com</strong>pressor and fans. Main isolator and<br />

door interlock safety device.<br />

Control<br />

The microprocessor controls the unit capacity by timing the <strong>com</strong>pressors<br />

and checks the operating alarms with the possibility to<br />

connect to BMS.<br />

Refrigerant circuit<br />

Filter dryer, moisture-liquid sight glass, solenoid valve, intercepting<br />

valve on the liquid line, thermostatic expansion valve with external<br />

isolator and door interlock safety device.<br />

Control<br />

The microprocessor controls the unit capacity by timing the<br />

<strong>com</strong>pressors and checks the operating alarms with the option of<br />

BMS and remote supervision. The high pressure is controlled by<br />

transducer.<br />

Filter dryer, moisture-liquid sight glass, solenoid valve, intercepting<br />

valve on the liquid line, thermostatic expansion valve with external<br />

equaliser, HP and LP pressure switches, high pressure transducer.<br />

Frame made of painted galvanised steel heavy profiles to ensure<br />

total mechanical and corrosion resistance.<br />

Compressor<br />

Reciprocating SEMIHERMETIC type, fixed on vibration isolation<br />

mountings; <strong>com</strong>plete with oil pump, crankcase electrical heater,<br />

electronic protection, intercepting valves on suction and discharge<br />

(mod. 015-20 HP); flexible joints on suction and discharge.<br />

Water heat exchanger<br />

Shell and tube type, thermally insulated by vapour-proof closed cell.<br />

Electrical board<br />

Switchboard to standards IEC 204-1/EN60204-1, <strong>com</strong>plete with<br />

contactor and protection for <strong>com</strong>pressor. Main isolator and door<br />

Control<br />

The microprocessor controls the unit capacity by timing the <strong>com</strong>pressors<br />
