The Spanish architect Ricardo<br />
Bofill drew inspiration from the<br />
water <strong>and</strong> the Mediterranean Sea<br />
when he created this sail-shape<br />
hotel.<br />
Main continuous curved glass<br />
structural façade series SMAE 200<br />
with units entirely pre-fabricated<br />
at factory <strong>and</strong> telescopic windows.<br />
The façade can be completed<br />
with a roller blind integrated<br />
in the profiles. Metal cladding<br />
of sides <strong>and</strong> junctions between<br />
floors in lightened Alucobond<br />
panels.<br />
Parapets in structural glass<br />
laminated with DuPont<br />
SentryGlas ® Plus PVB, lower<br />
glass pin support <strong>and</strong> stainless<br />
steel h<strong>and</strong>rail. Thermal break<br />
profile high per<strong>for</strong>mance sliding<br />
frames series <strong>Somec</strong> HSSP<br />
on <strong>sea</strong>-view rooms with terrace,<br />
with full height opening vents.<br />
