The Intel ISEF offers tuition grants to selected students. Colleges and universities had
the opportunity to recruit members of their next freshman class from the most talented
young scientists in the world.
The International Science and Engineering Fair is sponsored by Intel and has been
administered by Science Service since its inception in 1950. Science Service is a nonprofit
organization dedicated to advancing the understanding and appreciation of science
through publications and educational programs.
The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) is the world's largest

pre-collegiate celebration of science. Held annually in May, the Intel ISEF brings
together over 1, 400 students from 40 nations to compete for scholarships, tuition grants,
internships, scientific field trips and the grand prize. This year’s grand prize was a
$50,000 collegiate scholarship and a high-performance computer. Science Service
founded the ISEF in 1950 and is very proud to have Intel as the title sponsor of this
prestigious, international competition.
provides workshops and professional support for students who engage in pre-collegiate
scientific research. Seagate’s continued sponsorship has built a strong science program
in Santa Cruz County that continues to produce greater numbers of state and international
science and engineering champions every year.
