<strong>Traffic</strong> <strong>Impact</strong> <strong>Study</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>ADNOC</strong> <strong>Schools</strong> & <strong>Borouge</strong> <strong>Innovation</strong> Centre, Abu Dhabi<br />

Located in Sas Al Nakheel Abu Dhabi, the Male<br />

and Female High <strong>Schools</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>ADNOC</strong> consists <strong>of</strong><br />

two separate buildings, 2 floors each and can<br />

accommodate a total <strong>of</strong> 800 students. Each <strong>of</strong> the<br />

school buildings also includes sport facilities such<br />

as basket ball, football and tennis and in addition<br />

to related structures such as roads, walkways,<br />

prayer areas, playgrounds, s<strong>of</strong>t and hard<br />

landscaping, external shaded swimming pool and<br />

a car and a bus park. <strong>Borouge</strong> <strong>Innovation</strong> Centre,<br />

A polymer research facility, is one <strong>of</strong> only four<br />

similar initiatives developed globally.<br />

Project Description<br />

The Male and Female High <strong>Schools</strong> will be from<br />

grade 9 to grade 12. Each site comprises the main<br />

school building, service block, guard and drivers<br />

rooms, swimming pools and outdoor fields. The<br />

<strong>Borouge</strong> <strong>Innovation</strong> Centre consists <strong>of</strong> three<br />

major items, warehouse, labs and application hall,<br />

in addition to <strong>of</strong>fices, common spaces and<br />

services. The project consists mainly:<br />

Male High School <strong>of</strong> 400 students<br />

capacity.<br />

Female High School <strong>of</strong> 400 students<br />

capacity<br />

The Bouroge <strong>Innovation</strong> Centre <strong>of</strong> 75<br />

employees capacity<br />

Project Location<br />

The proposed project is located in Sas Al Nakheel<br />

(Omm El Nar) at the northeast quadrant <strong>of</strong> the


intersection <strong>of</strong> Abu Dhabi- Dubai Express Way<br />

(E10) and Abu Dhabi – Al Ain Express Way<br />

(E22).<br />
