3 rd Sunday of Advent<br />
Welcome to <strong>Imago</strong> <strong>Dei</strong> <strong>Church</strong>! We’re glad you joined us to celebrate the season of<br />
Advent, a special time of year when we anticipate and reflect on the birth of Jesus.<br />
If you’re here for the first time, please stop by the 1 st Time Visitor Tent to pick up a<br />
free Coke & gift bag & receive more info about IDC.<br />
Upcoming Events & Announcements:<br />
• Christmas Eve Worship – Dec. 24, 6pm, IDC Bldg. Join us on Christmas Eve @<br />
6pm for a special candlelight <strong>worship</strong> of singing and proclamation of scripture. We<br />
will have cider, coffee and some sweets to eat. Invite a friend and join us for<br />
fellowship and a special celebration of the birth of Jesus.<br />
• One Worship Service on 12/23 & 12/30 – Please note that we will have only one<br />
corporate <strong>worship</strong> service at 10am next Sunday Dec. 23 and on Dec. 30.<br />
• Christmas Missions Offering – We will continue our special Christmas Missions<br />
Offering through the end of the year, so please consider giving extra <strong>this</strong> month to<br />
support international missions & future church plants from <strong>Imago</strong> <strong>Dei</strong> <strong>Church</strong>. The<br />
missions offering received in December will be split 50/50 between supporting<br />
international missions and IDC church plants. Thanks for giving!<br />
• Equip Class – The December meeting of Equip has been cancelled. Our next<br />
meeting will be in January, 2013. If you would like to know more about Equip,<br />
IDC’s program for training aspiring church planters, pastors, missionaries, &<br />
growth group leaders, please email equip@idcraleigh.com.<br />
• Growth Groups – If you’re not already plugged into a Growth Group, small groups<br />
that meet weekly in homes, please email Pastor Nate @ nate@idcraleigh.com to<br />
get more info and find a group for you.<br />
