Brief Description <strong>of</strong><br />

Experiences<br />
: The major functions and responsibilities <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Firm</strong> will be to conduct<br />
an impact assessment <strong>of</strong> the project against the desired outputs and<br />
outcomes accomplished so far by different components. The impact<br />
assessment should assess the increased productivity and production <strong>of</strong><br />
crops, livestock, fisheries and supply chain activities, income <strong>of</strong> the<br />
farmers and the level <strong>of</strong> technology development. The firm will also<br />
assess the level <strong>of</strong> technology adopted by the farmers. Detail is given<br />
in TOR.<br />
: • The firm should be a registered firm under the Joint Stock<br />
Company/Society Act<br />
• The firm should have a minimum <strong>of</strong> 10 years <strong>of</strong> experience in<br />
conducting impact assessment and related works;<br />
• The firm should have experienced and qualified manpower <strong>for</strong><br />
conducting impact assessment;<br />
• The firm should have established <strong>of</strong>fice premise, valid trade<br />
license and Tax and VAT Registration;<br />
• Associated firm, if any (maximum one) should have a<br />
minimum <strong>of</strong> 10 years experience in conducting impact<br />
assessment in agricultural projects.<br />
• Working experience in conducting impact assessment in<br />
Bangladesh particularly in agriculture sector will be given<br />
preference.<br />
