Athletes of
the Month
If your child is a
member of a spring
team (Baseball, Boys
We were very excited to recognize two
young ladies who have been in the
basketball program for four years. This
year they overcame all obstacles to win the
MIL championship. Megan O’Malley
and Anna Rodgers have attended many
summer and off season camps to hone
their skills for their last year of high school
basketball. Their efforts paid dividends as
the team finished first in the MIL.
Volleyball, Golf, Softball,
Tennis or Track and Field)
please check with your
coach and find out when
practices, matches or games
are, so your child will be
second, and the basketball and soccer
teams won both of their league
championships.
In all, the winter sports competed in nine
different leagues and came away with 6
team championships. We’re very
fortunate to have such
wonderful youngsters
representing Seabury Hall.
A major reason for our success
was the support of the families
of all our athletes. Thank you
to all of you who supported
your child, or favorite team
this past winter.
We recognized three boys who contributed
mightily to the swim team this year. All
three scored points in the MIL where the
team finished second in the MIL. Alex
Armstrong has swum for four years.
Tristan Loesberg has been on the team
for three years while Cole Drake was able
to compete for the first time this year.
They have been tremendous models for the
younger swimmers this season.
Spring Break
Spring Break is always a difficult time for
our spring sports teams. Families go on
vacation or it is difficult for the younger
athletes to find transportation to practice.
Great Winter
While many parts of the country were
under snow, or in a very cold space this
winter, our athletic teams were extremely
hot. The paddling teams began the assault
as both the girls and the mixed teams took
the MIL title. Not to be outdone, the
soccer teams both won their respective
league championships. The swim teams
both had outstanding efforts to finish
