2.28.7 The Configuration File<br />

The configuration file for the Webmail Module requires custom values for the module to work as it relies on an<br />

external mail server.<br />

In this section we will go through the meaning of the different settings.<br />

Parameter type Description<br />

IMAPBaseFolder String Name of the base folder on the IMAP server. Typically<br />

“INBOX”.<br />

IMAPFolderSeparator String The folder separator on the IMAP server. Typically a single<br />

dot (“.”).<br />

IMAPPort Int The port number the IMAP server is listening on. Typically<br />

143.<br />

IMAPServer String The hostname or IP that the IMAP server is reachable at.<br />

SMTPPort Int The port number the SMTP server is listening on. Typically<br />

25.<br />

SMTPServer String The hostname or IP that the SMTP server is reachable at.<br />

UsernamePrefix String The prefix used for webmail IMAP account usernames.<br />

Check with the server administrator.<br />

WebserviceURL String The URL for the webservice used for creating accounts, etc.<br />

Check with the server administrator.<br />

AccountQuota Int Default IMAP account quota. In kilobytes.<br />

WebserviceSecret String The shared secret used when communicating with the<br />

webservice. Check with the server administrator.<br />

IMAPAuthMode String The authentication mode used with the IMAP server.<br />

Available are “plain” or “crammd5”.<br />

DomainName String The domain name that will be used as the default domain<br />

when adding webmail addresses.<br />

DiskCachePath String The path to a folder dedicated to storing cached copies of<br />

mail data. This folder must be writable to the Windows user<br />

that runs the web application.<br />
