Dianne Testa is a Registered <strong>Dental</strong> Assistant and a<br />

Registered <strong>Dental</strong> Hygienist who has an extensive<br />

understanding of the dental domain and all that<br />

encompass it. Her background includes clinical practice,<br />

clinical instructor, educator, public speaker, professional<br />

consultant and MI Specialist for GC America. Dianne’s<br />

30+ years of experience in dentistry shows in her aptitude<br />

and intellect on the subject. Her passion for achievement<br />

is passed along to the participants of her lectures and<br />

training seminars with each and every guest leaving<br />

with valuable knowledge.<br />

Dr. Grutzner will bring stories and adventures of recent<br />

trips to Peru and Honduras. Logistics and adventures are<br />

always part of the equation, but the pure joy of providing<br />

dentistry brings us back to the reasons we went into this<br />

profession in the first place. Come listen and enjoy.<br />

Dr. Eric Grutzner earned his undergraduate education at<br />

the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He received his<br />

Bachelor of Science degree from the University of<br />

<strong>Minnesota</strong> School of Dentistry in 1987, and <strong>Doc</strong>tor of<br />

<strong>Dental</strong> Surgery degree in 1989. In 1991, Dr. Grutzner<br />

obtained both his Master of Science and Certificate in<br />

Endodontics from the University of <strong>Minnesota</strong> and<br />

founded Metropolitan Endodontics that same year.<br />

He has served as the President of the <strong>Minnesota</strong><br />

Association of Endodontic, taught Endodontics at the<br />

University of <strong>Minnesota</strong> School of Dentistry and was<br />

director of the Undergraduate Endodontics pre-clinical<br />

course. He has had research published in the Journal of<br />

Endodontics and The Journal of Oral Surgery, Oral<br />

Pathology and Oral Medicine. He also was a contributor<br />

to the book, “Syndromes of the Head and Neck” and has<br />

lectured extensively in the <strong>St</strong>ate of <strong>Minnesota</strong>.<br />

This presentation will focus on<br />

third party audits of dental offices.<br />

Dr. Perpich will share the common<br />

pitfalls he has encountered in helping<br />

over thirty dentists in the past five<br />

years. The importance of record keeping and the many<br />

pitfalls will be highlighted. Attendees will leave more<br />

confident of what documentation needs to be in their<br />

patient record if their records are subject to a third<br />

party audit.<br />

Michael J. Perpich is a 1983 graduate of the University<br />

of <strong>Minnesota</strong> School of Dentistry. He has been practicing<br />

dentistry in Edina, <strong>Minnesota</strong> for 27 years. In addition to<br />

his private practice, Dr. Perpich is the President of NQA,<br />

Inc., which has been providing professional review for<br />

various dental plans and dentists since 1985. In the past<br />

four years Dr. Perpich has been involved in numerous<br />

audit cases. He has been quoted in articles on dental<br />

audits in the “ADA News”, “AGD Impact” and in “Port<br />

Charlotte Sun Times”.<br />
