Fiber Communication System
TJ8010 Fiber Communication System (FCS) is a ruggedized fiber
communication module to support a number of existing & legacy
communication interfaces through a compact modular design.
It supports Fast Ethernet (10/100 Mbps) electrical & optical, and Gigabit
Ethernet (1000 Mbps) optical interfaces. In addition it supports Power over
Ethernet and serial interfaces for packet data. It supports multiplexing of
RS232/RS422 signals, video transport, multiplexing of optical signals and
lambda add/drop capability from the aggregate streams.
TJ8010 is designed to be used in the following applications:
- Sensor to Shelter Optical Links for Radars, Aerostats, UAVs
- Tactical Communication Nodes
- Combat Management Systems
