Fiber Communication System<br />

TJ8010 Fiber Communication System (FCS) is a ruggedized fiber<br />

communication module <strong>to</strong> support a number of existing & legacy<br />

communication interfaces through a compact modular design.<br />

It supports Fast Ethernet (10/100 Mbps) electrical & optical, and Gigabit<br />

Ethernet (1000 Mbps) optical interfaces. In addition it supports Power over<br />

Ethernet and serial interfaces for packet data. It supports multiplexing of<br />

RS232/RS422 signals, video transport, multiplexing of optical signals and<br />

lambda add/drop capability from the aggregate streams.<br />

TJ8010 is designed <strong>to</strong> be used in the following applications:<br />

- Sensor <strong>to</strong> Shelter Optical Links for Radars, Aerostats, UAVs<br />

- Tactical Communication Nodes<br />

- Combat Management Systems<br />
