In the spacious reality of God’s Presence we can discover the resources, healing, ecstasy and
power we have become disconnected from in our lives and in what we think of as our self.
But this infinite reality is our very own Being if we only knew it. We wish to evoke an
atmosphere that invites realization.
In this retreat we will explore embodiment of the omnipresent God through Dances of
Universal Peace, Meditative Walks, Concentration, Witnessing, Zikr (divine remembrance)
and repetition of the Names of Allah. The 99 Names of Allah provide a complete
pharmacopeia of remedies for the human condition, for awakening to our true nature and to
unity. Join us for this exploration into becoming wholeheartedly human through spiritual
practice, music, song and contemplation.
Wali Ali Meyer is a Senior Teacher in the Sufi Ruhaniat
International and an original disciple of Murshid Samuel Lewis, who
brought the Dances of Universal Peace to the world. Wali Ali
currently heads the Esoteric School of the Ruhaniat and focalizes its
San Francisco residential community and learning center, Khankah
SAM. He is co-author of a major new book on the 99 Names of
Allah and brings a strong focus and facility in applying the mantric
invocation of divine qualities as a way to meet the inner and outer
circumstances of life.
Munir Peter Reynolds has led the Dances
of Universal Peace for 15 years and has
served on the staff of DUP camps and
retreats in the western US, Canada, New
Zealand and Russia. He is a Sheikh in the
Sufi Ruhaniat International and Director of
Dances of Universal Peace International, the
worldwide alliance of leaders of the Dances.

9:00-12:00 Morning session
12:00-1:30 Lunch at 6506 Ralston, walking around, rest time
1:30 - 4:00 Afternoon session
free time / have dinner (could include assignment of a practice)
7:00-10:00 Evening session (zikr)
Sunday March 27
8:30 silent tea, settle in
9:00-12:30 Morning session
12:30 Lunch break. (Any leftover food will be offered. Pitch-in also?)
2:00 – 4:00 Final session, with Munir
Cost
$130 for the Retreat. $60 - $130 due now; remainder due Feb 1, 2011
(non-refundable; if there is a waiting list and your place is taken, you will get all but $20 back)
$15 to stay at someone’s house Friday and/or Saturday
We’ll do our best to provide beds and we will refund your $15 if we run out of beds. If you are
an out-of-towner with alternative lodgings in Indianapolis, please let us know.
Note:
Local Dancers who volunteer for work (approximately two hours, as long as jobs last) will receive a
$20 reimbursement for work. Please apply with your registration.
Local hosts will receive $15 for anyone who pays the Dance for a bed (and, hopefully, breakfast).
Please let Registrar know how many spots are available at your place, also whether there are
animals or anything else that might aggravate allergies. And THANK YOU for making the retreat
available to others.
