The Program • We expect participants from all over the globe. You must make
your own travel arrangements to arrive at our hotel in New Delhi by the evening of
Friday, January 31, 2014. Our first class begins the following morning on February
1st, and we will close with breakfast on Monday, February 10th.
Throughout the program there will be morning raga classes and Sufi teachings, with
Dances of Universal Peace and zikr. We will host and participate in the 3 days of
Urs activities, including Indian music performances, Qawwali music, the Urs day,
and presentations by Sufi leaders and local Sufi pirs.
We will have the blessing of receiving teachings from the 12th Tai Situpa Rinpoche.
Outings in Delhi include visits to the shrines of Hazrat Inayat Khan, Hazrat
Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya, Hazrat Amir Khusrau, Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan, Hazrat
Khwaja Qutbuddin Baktiar Kaki, Hazrat Khwaja Nasiruddin Chiragh Delhi, Shaykh
Ma-sha’ikh Kamaluddin ‘Alama, Hazrat Bibi Fatima Sam, as well as Humayun’s
Tomb, the precursor to the Taj Mahal.
Accommodations • We will stay in a comfortable hotel in a quiet neighborhood located minutes from the center of
New Delhi and the Dargah of Hazrat Inayat Khan. All rooms have a private bathroom, and wi-fi. Delicious buffetstyle
brunch and dinner are included. Our meals are specially prepared for us and will include healthy vegetarian and
non-vegetarian entrees.
Tuition & Land Costs Only • US $1,950 (1,500€)
does not include airfare
Tuition includes all activities and outings, double occupancy room,
and two meals per day. There are a few private rooms for an additional
cost of $650 (500€) on a space-available basis.
A non-refundable deposit of $350 (270€) will reserve your place. The
remaining $1,600 (1,230€) is due Dec 10, 2013.
To protect yourself, you may consider buying travel insurance. We
have a comprehensive plan available for an additional amount, or you
can buy it through your airline, travel agent or online.
