The award of multiple contracts replicates the TREX model RTD had contracts with three 31 firms on
the TREX project and was able to use different firms on different segments of the corridor maximizing
expertise and meeting all project goals and deadlines
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding or these contracts is included as a part of the West Corridor Capital Budget
ALTERNATIVES
1 Accept the Recommended Action Authorize the General Manager or his designee to execute all
documents necessary to award multiple contracts to the qualified proposers Duncan Ostrander
Dingess PC in the amount of 5900 000
May and Associates P C in the amount of
5900 000
and Icenogle Norton Smith Blieszner Gilida a Professional Corporation in the amount
of 5700 000
for the provision of legal services specializing in eminent domain for the West Corridor
Light Raii Project and and or possible additional transit projects Funding far this contract is in the West
Corridor Budget
2 Do not accept the Recommended Action Do not authorize the General Manager or his designee
to execute all documents necessary to award multiple contracts to the qualified proposers Duncan
