Health Insurance
All graduate students are required to carry health insurance. For students
who do not have private medical insurance, the University offers an affordable
injury and sickness policy that is underwritten by the Mega Life and Health
Insurance Company. Enrollment is open at the beginning of each trimester. All
international students are required to purchase the group insurance policy by
Mega Life if their out-of-country policy does not cover them in the U.S.
The Mega Life group policy assists in meeting not only common illnesses,
but also the financial burden of illness and accidents involving care beyond
that available in the Student Health Center. Enrollment forms are available
from the Student Health Center and One Stop on the Malibu campus and at
each graduate campus.
For information regarding student health insurance, contact the student
health insurance coordinator at (310) 506-4830 or studentinsurance@
