Wichita East/Southeast and the Bel<br />
Aire <strong>Lions</strong> Clubs are having a <strong>Lions</strong><br />
Spaghetti Dinner Saturday March 3, serving<br />
from 1pm - 8pm at Gospel Assembly<br />
Church 4230 N. Oliver. Adults $8; child<br />
$5. All the spaghetti you can eat, plus<br />
garlic bread, salad and desserts. Please<br />
come join us in raising money for the<br />

The Wichita West <strong>Lions</strong> Club are helping<br />
sponsor 130 Wichita Independent<br />
Special Olympians to a Basketball Tournament<br />
in Hays, <strong>Kansas</strong> in March. April<br />
14, will be a Ham & Bean fund raiser<br />
with an auction and raffle. Proceeds will<br />
help sponsor the Sedgwick County ARC<br />
Tennis Classic coming up in June.<br />

The Environmental<br />
Photo Contest<br />
The winning entry for the State Photo Contest<br />
was from Lion Marjene Neve member of the<br />
Lansing Club—<strong>District</strong> <strong>17</strong> O. There were 101<br />
<strong>Lions</strong> who voted on the pictures at the Mid<br />
Winter Rally in Salina. Her picture will be<br />
sent on to International to be judged at the<br />
International <strong>Lions</strong> Convention in July.<br />
Congratulations to Lion Marjene.<br />
From <strong>District</strong> <strong>17</strong>N we had five pictures sent in<br />
for the contest, four from Sally Huber-Wichita<br />
West <strong>Lions</strong> Club, and one from LuRay Watts-<br />
Wichita Northwest <strong>Lions</strong> Club. Sally is the<br />
<strong>District</strong> <strong>17</strong> N Photo Contest winner and will<br />
receive $50.00. We are now in the new year<br />
for taking photos, so any photos taken between<br />
January and December 2012 will need to be<br />
submitted by January 1, 2013 to be judged at<br />
the Mid Winter Rally.<br />
Don't forget the Points Contest deadline is May<br />
15 so make sure your club get them submitted<br />
to me by that date.<br />

A cash donation jar will be on the same<br />
table as the cashier. These donations and<br />
the money from the baked potato bar will<br />
be used to replant the flower garden in<br />
front of the Arlington Community Center<br />
which will then be known as the Arlington<br />
<strong>Lions</strong> Club Flower Garden.<br />

is Thursday, April 5, from 6:00 – 8:00<br />
PM. The meeting will be held at the site<br />
of co-host, Envision, located at 610 N.<br />
Main in Wichita. An Italian buffet will be<br />
provided free to attendees by the Envision<br />
Foundation.<br />
