In the previous financial year, the Company undertook the following: (i) reduced the issued and paid-up share capital of the Company via cancellation of RM0.10 from the par value of every existing ordinary share of RM0.20 each in the Company pursuant to Section 64 of the Companies Act, 1965 in Malaysia; and (ii) increased its issued and paid-up share capital by issuance of 160 million new ordinary shares of RM0.10 each via a private placement to its major shareholder, namely WTKHSB or its assignee(s)/renouncee(s) by way of the conversion of an existing debt amounting to RM16 million owing by the Company to WTKHSB. The owners of the parent are entitled to receive dividends as and when declared by the Company and are entitled to one (1) vote per ordinary share at meetings of the Company.
