<strong>The</strong> Room Upstairs Stage after weeks<br />

of intensive training at <strong>The</strong>o’s Comedy<br />

Skool. Hosted <strong>by</strong> local comedy impresario<br />

<strong>The</strong>o <strong>The</strong>obald the show promises to <strong>be</strong> a<br />

marvelous mix of fantastic original material.<br />

As the Palace <strong>The</strong>atre Photographer in<br />

residence Paul Edwins will <strong>be</strong> showing his<br />

work from through out the years for all to<br />

see in his first exhibition <strong>here</strong> in <strong>The</strong> Room<br />

Upstairs.<br />

Come and flick through the pages of not<br />

only some of the people that have graced<br />

the stage at the theatre but also his own<br />

personal work that will <strong>be</strong> on display.<br />

THE NIGHT WATCH<br />

MUSICAL HISTORY TOUR<br />

A dash through musical history on mediaeval,<br />

renaissance and baroque period instruments.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Night Watch’s show, Musical History<br />

Tour. Takes you on a journey from the 12th to<br />

the early 18th century, their whistle-stop tour<br />

of musical history stops only to pick up their<br />

period instruments. Between them, Andy<br />

Casserley and Ian Pittaway sing and play<br />

recorders, lutes, shawms, gittern, re<strong>be</strong>c, oud,<br />

crumhorn, cittern, pipe and tabor, 4 course<br />

guitar, bagpipes, cornamuse, orpharion,<br />

gemshorn, simfony, and percussion.<br />

Between pieces, <strong>The</strong> Night Watch will tell<br />

you a bit about the songs, tunes, history and<br />

instruments, and t<strong>here</strong>’ll <strong>be</strong> a chance to have<br />

a closer look at historical instruments you<br />

never knew you wanted to play.<br />
