Bvuws ARTICTE 13. AMENDMENTS 13.1 Amendments at Meetings of ttris Chapter 13.1.1 Notice of ProPosed Amend' ments. These Bylaws maY be amended at any meeting of this Chapter, provided that a notice stating the purpose of each ProPosed amendment and the reason therefore and a copy of the proposed amendment is sent to every member etigible to vote on the amendment not less than 3O daYs Prior to the date of the meeting ^t which the proposed amendment is to be consi' dered. 13.L.2 Tvvo-thirds Vote Required. It shall require an affirmative vote of not less than two'thirds of the members of this ChaPter who are present at the meeting to amend the provision of these BYlaws. 13.2 Amendments by the Board of Directors 13.2.1 ConformitY with Institute Bylaws. The Board of Directors, without action by a meeting of this Chapter, shall amend anY of these Bytaws as may be necessarY for conformity with Institute Bylaws. These BYlaws, and anY amendments to them, shall be forwarded to the Secretary of the Institute for review for conformitY with Institute Bylaws. 13.3 Interpretation of Bylaws. These Bylaws shall be interpreted acco-rding to the laws of the State of North Carolina. E.I .
