18XX Paraguay Peso Struck Over an Argentina 1882 Peso<br />
The largest silver overstrike was a pattern for the Paraguay Peso. As with all of the gold overstrikes,<br />
the unfinished die only had the first two digits of the date. It was struck over an already struck<br />
Argentina 1882 Peso and is in choice mint state condition. There is considerable detail of the<br />
understrike visible on both sides. Even though it is not struck in gold, or over a struck gold coin,<br />
it is still a spectacular overstrike since it is on a large silver Peso from another country.<br />
The remaining four overstrikes in this unique set also used the same unfinished Paraguay Pattern<br />
Dies and were overstruck on struck silver and copper coins from Argentina with various dates.<br />
