CONECA is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education<br />
of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and<br />
variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple<br />
errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers -- just to name a few.<br />
It publishes an educational magazine, The <strong>Error</strong>scope, which is printed and<br />
mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination,<br />
listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions<br />
(referred to as <strong>Error</strong>ama) around the country, and offers auction services to<br />

CONECA Variety Attribution Services<br />
CONECA offers two attribution services. One<br />
service enables members and non-members<br />
to send their coins directly to an authorized<br />
CONECA attributer. The other service is<br />
offered through the numismatic grading firm<br />
of ICG and enables CONECA members and<br />
non-members to have their coins attributed<br />
by a CONECA attributer and then graded and<br />
slabbed by ICG.<br />
CONECA <strong>Error</strong> Examination Services<br />
CONECA offers two examination services. One<br />
service enables members and non-members to<br />
send coins to an authorized CONECA examiner<br />
who will return an opinion of each coin’s error<br />
classification. The other service is offered through<br />
the numismatic grading firm of ICG and enables<br />
CONECA members and non-members to have<br />
their coins examined by a CONECA examiner<br />
and then graded and slabbed by ICG.<br />
